I met Seonai in 1996 when we worked together at a newspaper in Thailand. We've managed to stay in touch all of these years even though I've only seen her once since then when I went to visit her in Glasgow many years ago. She was a memorable, interesting person who, despite her problems and hardships, always managed to make me laugh with her wit and humour. I will dearly miss our periodic chats on skype or yahoo. I hope she now has found the peace she spent much of her life in search of. I send my condolences to her family and friends. Lori from Canada
